Commoditisation is a process whereby difference is eroded and competition becomes solely price based. This may not be the sole cause of problems in post secondary education; but it has no doubt become a factor in many of the leading and most developed countries in the world.
Education delivers many intangible, complicated and not easily measured benefits. It is dangerous to over emphasise that which can be measured.
We are aware and are addressing the issues, but not all colleges are.
