Conservation of Animals

By ACS Distance Education on April 26, 2016 in Animals & Environmental Issues | comments

Do you love animals? If so, you are, presumably, an advocate for the preservation and conservation of animals. On the one hand, the need for conservation can be blamed on humans poaching animals, destroying their habitats or diminishing their resources. Yet, on the other hand, us humans are the only species that put in the effort to contravene our interference and preserve such animals.

There is an abundance of institutions out there helping and raising awareness for animals at risk of extinction including zoos, wildlife centres, rescue centres, education centres, animal sanctuaries farms and wildlife tours. Many organisations conduct research and carry out breeding programs to facilitate the re-population of endangered species.

Teaching people to care about the animals of today is vital so that they will be there tomorrow.
